and some more......

At this point in the project there are changes daily, which makes us {and our client } very happy. After months and months and months of planning and picking, our decisions are finally coming to fruition!

So, below is a picture we took when we were first evaluating the property with the architect and taking measurements. This is the basement entry with the secondary kitchen {if you could call it that } beyond the doorway.

This is the "kitchen", albeit for a basement apartment, but still!

Ahhhhh, now this is better! Some walls were torn down, large casements windows replaced old double hung, and a new french door was added off of the living area.

Remember this from the salvage post? This is the door our client bought for her main entry door.

Now, it is not completely finished, but we had it stripped and had a custom stain glass piece made for it and new hardware added. We are waiting for it to be stained a nice walnut color.
Stay tuned for more.....

In Progress

A project that we have been working on this past year is a total home renovation in Weaverville, NC {see here.} In the next few months the home should be complete, but we thought we'd share some progress pictures.

Gone is the split level stairway in the entry.

What used to be a series of three small rooms is now the kitchen/living area.

Some of the old materials that we purchased are being given new life in this house.

We hope to be able to share the finished 'pretty' pictures soon.
